In-house 3D Printing Services: SLS and FDM printers
ProTec uses the latest technology with our EOS SLS (Selective Laser Sintering) 3D printer which boasts a large print chamber (620 x 350 x 350) for nylons such as PA12, glass filled and alumide.
We often recommend SLS nylon as it is an incredibly versatile material with high weight-to-strength ratios and a good heat deflection temperature, making it tough and durable. Its flexibility means it stays its form through numerous applications, such as leather wrapping.
ProTec also hosts a versatile FDM (Fused Deposition Modelling) printer for carbon fibre filled nylon – which has the best stiffness-to-weight ratio and bend strength of all FDM materials.
Intelligent sourcing options
We can source any and all 3D printing services you may need, no matter the material or size you’re working with. Our options include but are by no means limited to:
